Herbal sauna’s with Ruthie offer a beautiful fusion of intuitive herbalism and sauna therapy shared together at the beautiful Al-Nara sauna, in Ludgvan, Near Penzance.
Upon arrival, the group will settle into a peaceful space, coming together to connect and begin the healing experience with our chosen plant medicine - heart opening Rose (Rosa damascena).
Ruth guides the group into a quiet space for the tea tasting in which we will share a gentle medicinal infusion. This is a semi guided practice to help you deepen your awareness, awaken your senses, and attune with the herbal energetics of Rose, connecting with the deep healing powers of its medicine.
Medicines shared in these sessions are selected for therapeutic synergy with sauna. After the tea ceremony, we’ll move into the wood fired sauna to deepen the medicine and share more herbal delights.
Between sessions in the sauna, cold plunge, and outdoor fire we will work with herbal elements to support relaxation, detoxification, and integration. These may include; aromatic waters, essential oils, fresh herbs, scrubs, infusions, honey syrups and more.
This workshop blends herbal wisdom with a deeply nurturing holistic experience - an invitation to reconnect with your body, the elements, and the medicine of plants.
Please arrive 10 minutes early. Bring a bottle of water, swim wear, a towel (plus one to sit on) and a notepad and pen.
